My Waste, My Wealth Project

OWI in partnership with World Connect implemented My Waste,
My Wealth Project, to build a holistic waste management system
collecting solid waste and delivering it to OWI's Masintha Waste
Hub.
In January 2019, My Waste, My Wealth Project commenced and
enrolled 13 older women, 10 young ladies who dropped out of
secondary schools and/or colleges due to various reasons. and
24 young men. These people were invited by local Block Leaders
and Chiefs, and went through a rigorous interview process at OWI
offices ensuring the selection process was professional and fair
for the people that came
